Welcome to the Austin International Church of Christ!
We are a family of believers committed to following our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are striving to build a fellowship that extends beyond social, racial and generational lines. God has blessed us with a dynamic campus ministry at the University of Texas, Texas State University and Austin Community College. "It takes a village to raise a child," and to that end the families in our congregation are committed to providing a dynamic learning environment for our children as they are raised in the Lord. An exciting children's program, preteen, junior high and high school groups are all an important part of our ministry. We are a loving, tight knit fellowship and are always excited to welcome new members to our family. We have many hopes, dreams and aspirations of what God can do through us individually and collectively as a fellowship. We invite you to join us!
Welcome Back Students!
This week marks the beginning of the fall semester for all of our college students. We want to welcome back those that have been gone for the summer as well as those that are here for the first time as freshmen! The campus ministry has always been a significant part of our work here in Austin. When the church began in 1995, there were only 3 students. The subsequent 13 years has seen countless young men and women come to the Lord. With many men and women in our family ministry having been originally converted while in college, it is not hard to see why we firmly believe that the campus ministry represents the future of our church!
As a congregation, let’s be sure to welcome the students warmly. Most of us can remember from our own experience how important it is to have a “home away from home” while in school. Food, laundry and fellowship are high on any college student’s list! Additionally, our college students are great role models for our kids.
We are grateful for Jeremy Lindley and Brigette Hammond who tirelessly serve the campus ministry. God has done great things as we have seen our ministry expand to include not only the University of Texas, but Texas State and ACC as well. This fall, we will begin classes with more disciples than we have ever had going into a school year. Our prayer is that we can have a greater impact than ever before on the college campuses in our area. Once again, to our students - Welcome! We are grateful to have you! Hook ‘em Horns and Go Bobcats!

Missions Contribution Update
To the glory of God, we reached our goal for our missions contribution last week! Our goal was to raise $65,000 in support of the churches in Cyprus, Turkey & Israel. As of last Sunday, we have now collected $65, 565.93! This is a significant victory for us a congregation and is a source of significant encouragement for our brothers and sisters in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Claiming God’s Promises
Joshua 13:1-7
By the beginning of Joshua 13, the major organized opposition to Israel’s advance into Canaan has been defeated. All that remains is for the land to be divided amongst the 12 tribes and for those tribes then to go and claim their inheritance, eliminating further local resistance and settling down to enjoy the fruit of God’s promise.
